Real estate is my family business; well, dozens of different businesses. My parents and most of my siblings, aunts and uncles have all invested in private residences, rentals and commercial properties. Just like a good financial advisor doesn’t panic through the twists and turns of the stock market, we don’t flinch as the real estate market rises and falls. There was never a doubt as to what I would do for a living; I had decades of family trade secrets to draw upon from Day #1.
My Dirty, Dusty Road To Success
After college, I honed my client service skills by founding a commercial cleaning business. Two years later, I sold the business for a tidy profit and secured my real estate license. I found a mentor in one of the South Sound’s leading developers and spent 12 months working for his commercial real estate firm.
When I returned to Seattle, I took on a project to restore a variety of beautiful vintage buildings. This initiative preserved the community’s architectural history while connecting its residents to affordable housing. In a few short years, I remodeled, designed and sold more than 100 city condos.
Soon after buying my dream home in West Seattle, I co-founded The Usonia Group, a real-estate partnership within Keller Williams. While many real estate brokers left the industry during the Seattle housing bubble and 2008 market crash, I enjoyed record sales that year and increased my streak of successful closings every year since. As the market heated up, my solid relationships throughout the industry helped me negotiate and seal the very best deals for her homebuyer, home seller and commercial clients.
This is where my story comes full circle. My experience at every level of the building, remodeling and design process helps me in all aspects of the real estate transaction – from seeing the potential in a fixer-upper and finding key areas to negotiate to helping sellers make essential upgrades that result in a significant return on investment.

In 2015, I was presented with a golden opportunity. Cayce Real Estate Services (formerly Cayce & Gain), the family-run property management company was looking for a proven leader to run their rapidly growing real estate brokerage. As the director of sales, I will continue to do what I do best — providing world-class service to my clients – while building a team of brokers to help residential and commercial clients throughout King and Snohomish Counties.
